Alternative Dispute Resolution
In addition to more traditional areas of practice, Otten & Associates has sought to serve the needs and interests of its clients by employing Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) techniques when appropriate. Attorneys are qualified by the Minnesota Supreme Court to perform mediation and arbitration. When used properly, ADR such as mediation and arbitration can bring about more timely resolution of disputes and, on occasion, at dramatically lower cost than by customary means.
At Otten & Associates, alternative dispute resolution activities involve family law and personal injury matters, which often benefit from such an approach. Attorney Paul Otten is a Qualified Rule 114 Neutral. Otten serves regularly as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.
